Bob and Audrey talked about the importance of "Quiet Time" and how God wants us to get into a place where we quiet our minds and stop being so dependent on ourselves to resolve what is wrong in our life. We need to slow down and start praying those thoughts - lifting our fears, worries and burdens to Him, the King of Kings, because this is where we hear His voice and He gives us His yoke which is easy, and His burden, which is light. Our quiet time is also a place where our minds are renewed with His Word. "Exchange My thoughts for your thoughts," says the Lord. It is His Grace in me that fulfills His purpose." (I love that!)
They also spoke of Abraham, who in Genesis is required of the Lord to relinquish what was very dear to him - his son. But we learn that God will not require what He first does not already supply. Praise God. Do you so get that? It's an amazing revelation and one that I could ponder for hours. Here is a quote from Bob I think, "As we dare to dream again, there is nothing that God will require of us that He doesn't first of all provide and give the Grace to fulfill. It begins and ends with God!" Audrey took it even further by talking about how Abraham never even dreamed of having Isaac. This was God's dream, but God loves to show His character to us by giving us the unexpected. She said, "Out of nowhere God will drop a dream-come-true into our lives because He simply and profoundly Loves us...and then He even provides the next step!"
If you are confused by some of these ramblings of mine then you will have to just watch the program. You can go to it through the link to the right (It's a New Day) and click on "Watch a Show" and go to Bob and Audrey - Dare to Dream (2 parts). If you need fresh vision for the upcoming year, or you just need to hear the Father's heart for you, I would highly encourage you to take the time to check this ministry out. God wants us to dare to dream big this year. He wants to reveal His heart to a lost and dying world. I feel like He is telling me personally, "You've got to get this girl! It's a critical part of realizing My dream for your life!" All Glory, Honor, Praise and Power be to You Jesus...forever!
