Who Would have Known
By Gina Holbrook
Who would have known
Who would have thought
A dream and a prayer
A hidden desire of the heart
Who would have dared believe it was true
That the God of creation had a thought...you!
He knew the Holbrooks would need your love and your smiles
And so He began to weave a red thread across many miles
He planned it all so perfectly
He breathed it into time and space
He planted our feet on this precious journey
Our journey to His hidden treasure...Sarah Grace
We look to the day when we will meet you
As we walk this journey through
We will follow the thread He has chosen
Trusting completely that His promises will lead us one day to you!

Gina,
This is Kelcey. What a beautiful gift to show her someday. Your trust and reliance on God and his awesome power is so exciting to witness. It is so encouraging to me. I am also praying for little Sarah Grace and her arrival to the Holbrook family.
love you guys
Hi Gi -- it's your sis, T!
Seeing the photo of those ruby red shoes brought back a childhood memory that we share...Remember one of our favorite books mom would mercilessly read to us each night about the little girl with the red shoes? From what I can recall it is a story of faith among deep adversity. -- I sense that there is a similary here...your red shoes are the thread of faith that is keeping you and your family focused on greeting precious Sarah Grace into your home someday. May the tangible reminder of those shoes be the transitional object that she will be in your loving arms soon. I love you, Sis and your beautiful family...
Tina
And I love you BOTH, precious daughters! What memory you have stirred with that book "The Little Red Shoes", Tina! You girls LOVED that story...and who would have thought that even then the seed of love was being dropped into Gina's heart for her little Empress?
Both of you are remarkable women and it is a privilege to call you "daughters"...knowing, too that each of you will share your girls is a thrill to this mother's heart. Contessa Sophia Angela and Empress Sarah Grace -- can a grandmother be happier???
The only thing now is to await the day we can all hold our little one who is a gift from God to our famliy...OH! Come soon, Sarah Grace, come soon!!!
